Authorities say they've completed a month-long investigation and have arrested a Fairfield man accused of sexual assault. 

Daniel C. Suozzi, 43, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 20, on the charge of sexual assault in the first degree and was released on a $50,000 bond, Fairfield police said. 

Authorities did not provide many details of the alleged crime but noted that Suozzi knew the woman who accused him.
