Fog and drizzle end Thursday evening
Sunday looks fantastic with sunny skies and temperatures in the 50s
Significant weather changes coming next week, with rain, then much colder air
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Thursday evening across southern Wisconsin brings an end to the cloudy, damp conditions that have persisted through the day. Areas of fog and drizzle will gradually lift and move out as a weak cold front passes through the region during the evening hours.
Friday marks the start of the transition to much nicer weather. Morning temperatures will be chilly, dropping into the low to mid-30s in southwestern Wisconsin and upper 30s elsewhere. However, afternoon highs will climb back into the mid-40s under partly cloudy skies as drier air moves in behind the departing weather system.
