ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. —

A member of the National Guard in Easley, South Carolina, has been accused of distributing child sexual abuse material online.

Early Thursday morning, authorities arrived at a home on Shefwood Drive, where 45-year-old Jared Allen Dill was taken into custody. A heavy law enforcement presence was also seen at the 263rd Army Air and Missile Defense Command facility along Martin Luther King Boulevard.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office said the investigation into Dill began in September 2024 when detectives received multiple cybertips regarding his inappropriate activity.

According to authorities, Dill uploaded child sexual abuse files up until October 2025. The victims are anywhere from the age of 5 to 15 years old.
