GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, MI – An intruder who allegedly stole cinnamon rolls, cash, and Monster energy drinks from Cinnamom Bakery returned about an hour later to retrieve a hammer they had left behind.

Police believe the intruder broke into Cinnamom, located at 5015 S. Saginaw Road, twice in the early morning hours of Sunday, Nov. 16.

The Grand Blanc Township Police Department is currently investigating the case and attempting to identify the suspect, Chief William Renye said.

Cinnamom officials issued a statement on social media saying the business will remain open while they attempt to identify the “cinnamon roll bandit.” They also shared a photo of the alleged suspect captured by security footage on social media.
