NATCHITOCHES, La. — KTBS 3's Rick Rowe goes Behind the Badge for a closer look at what it's like to work in law enforcement during the Natchitoches Christmas Festival .

He spoke with a Natchitoches police officer about his meaningful career and all the memories of working the Christmas parades over the years .

The Natchitoches Christmas Festival is a six-week long Christmas Season. It begins on the Saturday before Thanksgiving and concludes on January 6. It includes over 300,000 lights and 100 plus set pieces are on display every night at dusk.
