CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Division of Highways has accepted bids for a large-scale paving and concrete repair project along a 43-mile stretch of U.S. Route 119 in Logan and Boone counties. The work includes resurfacing, concrete repairs, and new guardrails between Fountain Place and Mud River Road.
The project was one of 20 statewide construction proposals included in the WVDOH’s Nov. 18, 2025, bid letting.
The following construction and infrastructure projects were opened for contractor bids:
Senator J.F. Deem Memorial Bridge – Approach ramp replacements (Wood County)
WV 32 paving – Davis Bridge to Boulder Park (Tucker County)
US 119 repairs – Concrete work, paving, and guardrails (Boone and Logan counties)
Winfield sidewalks – WV 817 (Putnam County)
