Minisink Valley football coaches are seeing a different Brady Witkowski this season. Head coach Kevin Gallagher said Witkowski, a two-way lineman, has “flipped the switch” in his senior season.
Witkowski soaked in every practice as a scout-team lineman last season. He learned technique and execution from seniors Kevin Crowe-Bailey, Keith Henry, and Mikey Houston.
With four starting offensive linemen having graduated, Witkowski knew that he would be counted on this season. Witkowski, who plays left guard, stepped up. He and right guard Liam Berry, center Anthony Marasco, and right tackle Niko Juncaj have joined returning left tackle Jayden Pressley and haven’t disappointed.
