Authorities say they first learned of the 2-year-old on Oct. 4 while the child was on their way to the hospital. While there, the child tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl.
During their investigation, detectives responded to the Monessen home where the child allegedly came in contact with the drugs.
Inside, authorities say they found a blue glassine baggie, a smoking pipe, two stamp bags, a scale, several other small baggies containing a powder residue, and a case of THC cartridges.
A field test on the residue positively tested as cocaine, a release from the District Attorney's office stated.
