PUTNAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man is facing charges after he was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl last year, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
PCSO said detectives were told on Aug. 24, 2024, that a man had climbed through a 13-year-old girl’s bedroom window and allegedly forced her to have sex with him.
During the investigation into the incident, deputies discovered that 24-year-old Juan Ivan Ramirez-Alvarez was in a “relationship” with the victim, and he had snuck into her room to have sex with her.
According to police, Ramirez-Alvarez fled to Arkansas while deputies were working to positively identify him as the suspect. He was later located and arrested by U.S. Marshals in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
