MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Dane County Regional Airport officially recorded its busiest summer travel season ever, officials with the airport announced on Thursday.
From May through August, MSN reported a total passenger volume reached 854,330 compared to 814,545 last year during the same period.
“These record-breaking numbers prove that more people than ever are choosing Dane County Regional Airport for their travel plans,” said Mark Papko, Executive Director of the airport. “MSN continues to demonstrate that it offers the perfect combination of convenience, affordability, and efficiency, all while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.”
The airport also reported that it experienced its busiest week in history in mid-August.
