According to Athens City Officials, police reported an explosion on I-65 Thursday night following a wreck with two 18-wheelers.

Authorities said shortly after 8:30 p.m. Thursday that the wreck was at Mile Marker 347. Both northbound lanes are closed while emergency crews respond to the wreck.
