MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Rutherford County School Board is deciding which students will have to move schools next year to accommodate all the new developments in the area.
It’s part of a years-long process of changing the district’s school boundaries that started in 2023. Over the last few years, the boundaries have changed for elementary schools and high schools.
Now, the board is considering changes to the district’s middle schools as they open a new one next fall and changes to the boundaries for four elementary schools due to planned development in the area.
