KIRBYVILLE, Texas — A new medical service helicopter has been stationed at the Kirbyville Airport to provide faster access to specialized care for rural Jasper County patients, a move Allegiance Mobile Health officials say will save lives by reducing transport times and delivering advanced treatment during flight.
Allegiance Mobile Health announced the deployment as a new lifesaving resource for Southeast Texas communities that often face extended emergency response times due to their rural location. Medics say the helicopter will be ready to respond to severe trauma, cardiac emergencies and other critical situations.
“We’re definitely gonna save lives,” said Bryan Everitt, chief medical officer. “I mean there’s patients that are going to have better outcomes because of this.”
