RAPID CITY — Twenty-four teams are set to begin play on Thursday, Nov. 20 in the 2025 South Dakota State High School Volleyball Tournament at The Monument.

The tourney continues through Saturday, Nov. 22.

Defending champions are Harrisburg (Class AA), Dell Rapids (Class A) and Chester (Class B). Harrisburg has won three titles in a row and Chester two.

Here are the first-round pairings (All times are Central):

Class AA

No. 1 Harrisburg (32-2) vs. No. 8 Mitchell (16-8), noon.

No. 4 Sioux Falls Lincoln (19-5) vs. No. 5 Watertown (21-9), 1:45 p.m.

No. 2 Brandon Valley (25-3) vs. No. 7 Sioux Falls Washington (17-7) , 6 p.m.

No. 3 O'Gorman (24-4) vs. No. 11 Sioux Falls Jefferson (12-12), 7:45 p.m.

Class A

No. 1 Dakota Valley (31-3) vs. No. 8 Wagner (24-7), noon.
