BEDFORD, Ohio — Frustrations boiled over at Thursday night's Bedford City School District Board of Education meeting as the teachers union announced a vote of no confidence against Superintendent Dr. Cassandra Johnson.
The Bedford Education Association says the symbolic measure reflects growing concerns about leadership and transparency following months of turmoil. Several high school employees were placed on leave last month amid allegations of serious misconduct, and those cases remain under review by an outside investigator, according to Johnson.
Union President Trish Duncan delivered pointed remarks during the meeting.
