While granting a relief to Farhan Akhtar film '120 Bahadur’ on the eve of its release, the Delhi High Court directed the petitioners seeking name change for the movie to first watch the film.

The bench of Justices Pratibha M Singh and Shail Jain was of the view that "it is too late now to change the title of the movie."

The petition was filed by the Sanyukt Ahir Regiment Morcha and its members, who argued that the war depicted in the film was fought by 'Ahirs'. They sought two forms of relief: that the names of all 120 soldiers who fought the battle be mentioned at the end of the feature film, and that the title of the film be changed to '120 Vir Ahir'.
