Jammu, Nov 21: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday announced that the NGO Human Resource Development Society (HRDS) will build 133 houses for families in Poonch whose homes were destroyed in recent Pakistani shelling amid rising tensions along the Line of Control.
During his visit to Poonch, the LG said each house will cost Rs 1 million and the entire project will be completed within six months. He said the initiative aims to ensure timely rehabilitation and secure housing for affected families, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to swift reconstruction and comprehensive support.
