HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - New details have been released after a Jeep chase that ended in Horry County was caught on video.
Deputies with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office were first alerted to be on the lookout for a 2005 Jeep Wrangler around 9:18 a.m. Sunday, as Georgetown police were chasing after the Jeep across the Maryville Bridge on Highway 17.
The Horry County Police Department said in a report that the Jeep was “freshly” stolen out of Charleston County.
As deputies left the office, they were told the Jeep was now traveling through the five points intersection at North Fraser Street and Church Street, according to an incident report from the sheriff’s office.
