Residents Have Until November 23 to Complete Survey Aimed at Improving Transparency and Shaping Future Departmental Budget Reports.

Los Angeles County residents have until Sunday, November 23, to submit feedback on the county’s first round of public budget presentations, officials said. The outreach effort follows the Board of Supervisors’ decision earlier this year to require departmental budget briefings as part of governance reforms enacted under Measure G.

The Governance Reform Task Force is collecting comments through an online survey to help shape future presentations and strengthen standards for transparency and accountability. The issues with the Los Angeles budgets have attracted much attention, and here’s your chance to weigh in on what’s important to you.
