Rodents, black flies and custard machine cleanliness are causing issues for Shake Shack’s Seaport location.
The location, which opened in 2016 as the 100th Shake Shack, failed its health inspection on Nov. 18, after health inspectors reported seeing rodent activity behind the heating system, custard machine and grease trap. They also saw “heavy food soils” on the outside of multiple plastic bulk item buckets.
Shake Shack did not respond to MassLive’s request for comment Thursday.
This is not the first time this Shake Shack location has had issues identified by the health inspectors.
