LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - One man was arrested after assaulting a woman on Nov. 20.

It happened off Valley Lane, 2 miles South of London.

After receiving a complaint and arriving at the scene, deputies found a man outside the house screaming and rolling on the ground.

After investigating, deputies learned about a verbal argument between the man and a woman.

The man pushed the woman and hit her in the back with a broom, breaking the stick.

The woman told deputies she used pepper spray to get the man away from her.

Ronnie Dewayne Osborne Jr., 30, of London, was arrested and charged with:

Assault – 4th degree

Public intoxication – controlled substances

Disorderly conduct – second-degree

He is being held in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
