The White House is reportedly preparing for possible changes in US President Donald Trump’s Cabinet as he nears the one-year mark of his current term.
According to multiple people familiar with internal discussions, cited by CNN , no decisions have been finalised yet, but senior officials have been reviewing several departments where tensions or performance issues have emerged in recent months.
So far, Trump’s Cabinet has remained stable, a conscious effort by those around him to avoid repeating the high turnover that marked his first term. However, officials told the broadcaster that some departments could soon see movement, particularly the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Energy.
