On Nov. 16, 1925, law enforcement took down “the largest still plant ever” in Clark County. The still, located on Prune Hill, had the capacity to make around 10 gallons of moonshine in an hour. The liquor produced by the still would have fetched a gross return of about $2,000 (or about $36,000 today).

Clark Junior College’s music department prepared for its annual fall concert on Nov. 16, 1950. 174 students undertook “final practices and rehearsals,” including the band, a cappella choir, Arpeggeos, and the Melody Men.
