Police say they are investigating a crash where a pedestrian was hit and killed in Enfield earlier this week.
The crash was reported just before 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20. The person was walking along Hazard Avenue near Glen Arden Lane when a Toyota Camry slammed into them, Enfield police said.
Paramedics rushed them to Johnson Memorial Hospital with critical injuries, and they were pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Police have not released the pedestrian's name.
The driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators, authorities said.
