ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis mother says she's shaken after discovering disturbing home-security footage showing a man tossing her infant daughter around while he was supposed to be caring for her.

Kristopher Wallace, 27, was charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the incident.

The infant's mother, Allahja Jackson, said she left her 6-month-old and 2-year-old children in Wallace’s care while she was at work. At some point, "something told me to check my videos,” she said, and she opened her home security cameras.

“Once I saw the whole thing, instant tears, instant crying,” Jackson said. “...He was strangling her. He was choking her with his hands.”
