BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Two men are facing charges in connection with an alleged theft of power tools in Bowling Green worth several thousand dollars.

According to uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department took 26-year-old Jair Yarasca into custody on Thursday following a shoplifting incident involving 22 power tools worth over $3,100.

Officers say Yarasca worked with two other male subjects in the incident, with one of them identified as 28-year-old Daniel Ortiz Catalado.

On Thursday, police say Yarasca entered Lowe’s with the other two men, where they allegedly stole the 22 power tools.

Two of the three suspects, Yarasca and Ortiz Catalado, were apprehended in the parking lot by BGPD, the citation states.
