BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - No. 5 LSU set a new SEC record for consecutive 100-point games Thursday night, rolling past Alcorn State 112-49 for its sixth straight outing over the century mark.
The Tigers broke the previous record of five set by LSU’s 2022-23 national championship team.
Flau’Jae Johnson and MiLaysia Fulwiley scored 18 points each as LSU improved to 6-0 and continued its early-season scoring pace. The Tigers entered the night leading the nation at 115.2 points per game with an average margin of victory of 60.2 points.
Mikaylah Williams and Katie Koval scored 15 apiece and Grace Knox added 12.
Alcorn State (2-3) committed 31 turnovers, finishing with more giveaways than field goals. Nakia Cheatham led the Braves with 16 points and Maya Hunkin-Claytor had 11.
