59-year-old Pinetop woman murdered, sheriff's office investigating

PINETOP-LAKESIDE, Ariz. — A homicide investigation is underway in Navajo County after a 59-year-old woman was killed Thursday night.

The Navajo County Sheriff's Office said deputies are investigating the murder of a Pinetop woman in the area of Bruin Way and Branding Iron Loop. Residents have been asked to avoid this area while deputies investigate the scene and interview neighbors.

The call to NCSO initially came in at about 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 20.

No suspect information is available to release at this time and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call NCSO at 928-524-4050. The investigation is ongoing.
