OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Metropolitan Community College is calling on young artists to design a mission patch that could fly to the International Space Station.
The patch will represent the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program ’s 21st mission to send micro-gravity experiments to orbit.
Students in kindergarten through 12th grade living in Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy and Washington counties and all current MCC students are invited to submit a design.
The patch and the micro-gravity experiments are set to blast off next summer.
The rules for participation are:
Must be an MCC or K-12 student who attends school in Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy or Washington counties.
Designs may be physical or digital works — must be printed on regular paper (not cardstock or cardboard)
