Weekend temperatures climb into the 50s

Thanksgiving brings frigid conditions with wind chills dropping to single digits

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Get ready for a pleasant warm-up this weekend before winter weather returns for Thanksgiving week.

Thursday evening brings mostly cloudy skies as high clouds move through southern Wisconsin, but these will clear out as we head into the evening. Temperatures will drop into the low 20s under clear skies.

Saturday looks much better with partly cloudy conditions and a return of southwesterly winds. High temperatures will climb into the upper 40s to near 50 degrees, which is mild for late November. A weak cold front will pass through Saturday evening, but it won’t bring any rain or significant temperatur
