MANCHESTER, Conn. (WFSB) - Police have wrapped up a long investigation into a drug trafficking ring operating in Manchester, leading to the arrest of three people.
Jerry Mercado, 39, of Hartford, Reymond Rojas of Hartford, and Yosti Vega, 45, of East Hartford were suspected of dealing drugs throughout the area.
Police got arrest warrants for all three on various drug charges.
On November 14, the East Central Narcotics Task Force, working with East Hartford police and their K9 unit, pulled over a car and arrested Mercado and Vega.
Police found Mercado carrying about 97 grams of raw fentanyl and “Grey Death,” a deadly mix of fentanyl, PCP and cocaine. He also had 63 grams of crack cocaine, 37.5 grams of powder cocaine, around $3,500 in cash suspected to be from drug sales, and packaging
