Celebrity MasterChef judge Grace Dent became emotional on Friday's The One Show

Grace Dent was left battling back tears on Friday's The One Show as she pleaded with the presenters to 'stop making me emotional'.

The 52 year old has recently stepped into the judging hot seat on Celebrity MasterChef , replacing the axed Gregg Wallace.

Grace, who was previously a regular guest critic on the show, has taken over from Gregg, 61, who was sacked following a probe into his behaviour that saw 45 out of 83 complaints against him upheld.

During her appearance on Friday's The One Show to discuss her new position, Grace became tearful as presenters Clara Amfo and Scott Mills shared viewer messages praising her performance on the BBC cookery show.
