A “wild and dangerous police pursuit” that started in Frederick County, Maryland, came to a stop on Interstate 270 in Montgomery County.

It happened Friday during the afternoon rush.

Northbound I-270 was closed at Route 121, while southbound I-270 was stopped before Route 121. WTOP Traffic reported a large police presence in the area and standoff taking place.
