TEMPE, Ariz. — Three teenagers have been arrested by Tempe police for their alleged involvement in using stolen vehicles to burglarize a smoke shop.
On Nov. 2, a car was driven into a store near Baseline Road and Mill Avenue. The driver jumped out and proceeded to steal vape products before running out of the store and getting into another vehicle, Tempe police said.
The burglary resulted in an estimated $30,000 in damages and loss of merchandise to the business.
Police said the two vehicles involved in the incident were reported stolen out of Phoenix.
On Friday, Tempe police said three teenagers had been arrested and are facing charges for the incident.
A 15-year-old was arrested on Nov. 4, a 14-year-old was arrested on Nov. 14 and a 16-year-old was arrested on Nov. 19. Police said
