SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Notre Dame will honor 32 seniors on Saturday when the Irish host Syracuse in their final regular season home game at Notre Dame Stadium.
The ninth-ranked Irish enter the game 8-2 overall with eight consecutive wins after defeating then-No. 22 Pittsburgh last week . Syracuse comes to South Bend with a 3-7 record and six straight losses.
The Orange will start a freshman walk-on lacrosse player at quarterback due to injuries. Former Notre Dame quarterback Steve Angeli, who transferred to Syracuse this spring , tore his Achilles earlier in the season and will not play.
