Partizan fans “welcomed” Fenerbahce with a giant banner depicting the death of Ottoman Sultan Murad I in the battle of Kosovo by Serbian knight Milos Obilic, creating an unexpected controversy.
The banner was considered a provocation by the Turkish side, which won the game , and an official reaction is expected.

“This banner was already there when we practised. We made the necessary complaints to the local authorities, but they still allowed it to remain in the stands.
