James Franklin was introduced as Virginia Tech’s new head football coach on Wednesday.

The terms and salary of the former Penn State coach’s deal with the Hokies have been revealed, per a report by ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Friday.

Franklin’s five-year deal to become the Hokies’ head coach will pay him an average of $8.2 million per season, per Thamel.
