LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Seven people are now in custody after Louisville Metro Police officers busted a major drug ring in Park Hill this week.

Maj. Russell Miller, Commander of LMPD's Second Division, said officers confiscated three illegal guns, several pounds of drugs, and drug paraphernalia from four apartments in the complex.

"Everything that we can get off the street is one less potential death. It's one less victim. It's one less person getting hurt," Miller said.

Miller said an arrest in August led detectives to the operation. In those four apartments, they found marijuana, ecstasy, cocaine, and methamphetamine, all of which were packaged to appear like candy.
