JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ky. —
Kentucky State Police increased traffic enforcement in Jefferson County this week.
The one-day traffic enforcement operation resulted in 63 traffic stops, 27 speeding citations and seven seatbelt citations.
Troopers issued 177 total charges, including multiple drug-related offenses, and arrested four people with outstanding warrants.
Enforcement teams were positioned along the Watterson Expressway, Gene Snyder Freeway and I-65.
Drivers can expect similar operations throughout the area as troopers continue promoting safe driving.
