MACON, Ga. — Pizza was on the lunch menu Friday at John R. Lewis Elementary School , but two brothers got something far more filling: their first hug from mom in nearly a year.

Jaxon and Josiah Rocker were eating lunch in the cafeteria together for the first time.

They noticed cameras and unfamiliar faces in the cafeteria but kept eating with friends, unaware their mother was about to walk in.

"Hey baby, hey stankey," she called out as the boys turned around. "Did you miss me?"

The first-grader and kindergartener hadn't seen their mother since January. They said they were shocked and so excited.

"Every single day I couldn't wait to just touch them, hug them," Rocker said, still holding her sons close. "I can't even let them go right now. I missed my babies."
