GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — Two people were arrested Friday in connection with the death of a child in Grand Prairie, officials say.

Grand Prairie police and Child Protective Services are investigating the death of the child, which happened Friday at a home in the 1200 block of Huddleston Drive, according to a news release.

Susaneth Pazarez-Nunez, 20, and Fernando Vega Diaz, 23, were arrested on one complaint each of injury to a child causing death, officials say.

No other information about what led up to the child's death was immediately available. The Grand Prairie Police Department declined to provide additional information, citing the ongoing investigation and confidentiality laws.
