MADISON, Wis. --- Reedsburg Football had a heck of a run. They finished tied for fourth in their conference in the 2025 regular season, and received a #4 seed in the State Tournament. The Beavers parlayed that into four straight wins in the playoffs, meeting undefeated Grafton in the D3 State Final.
Reedsburg's Will Mikonowicz sent the game to half tied at seven a piece, thanks to an 80-yard touchdown run. He'd finish with 255 rushing yards, and a pair of touchdowns.
In the final minutes of the fourth quarter, Mikonowicz intercepted Grafton, and took his team down the field to score a touchdown with less than two minutes to go. Instead of tying it with an extra point, the Beavers' back rushed in for the two-point conversion, giving the Reedsburg a 15-14 lead.
But just before the miracle
