SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Notre Dame women’s basketball team picked up a big win at home over USC on Friday night after Hannah Hidalgo drilled a game-winning shot in the final seconds .

Hidalgo lifted the No. 24 Irish to a 61-59 victory over the No. 11 Trojans after hitting a go-ahead two-pointer with 1.9 seconds to go.

It’s a big bounce-back win for the Irish, who are coming off the biggest defeat of Niele Ivey’s tenure as head coach last weekend.

The Irish will host Central Michigan on Monday. Tipoff at Purcell Pavilion is set for 9 p.m.
