MADISON (WKOW) -- SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital donated snack items to Lincoln Elementary Friday, its Adopt-A-School partner, as part of Mission and Heritage Week celebrations.

SSM Health-Madison's Mission Action Team members asked the elementary how they could best support students.

The answer was a request for snack items to support their focus and learning throughout the day.

Teachers say this donation allows them to use their classroom budget on other needs.
