SPOKANE, Wash. — The families of two men killed by a fallen tree last December are suing the Spokane Airport, claiming that the airport knew the tree was dangerous and did nothing.
The families of Elisha Brian and Eric Saint are suing Spokane International Airport and its board, alleging that they are responsible for a deadly crash that happened the morning of December 18, 2024.
56-year-old Saint was driving a box truck, with 30-year-old Brian in the passenger seat, according to the lawsuit.
As they traveled east on Highway 2 near East Airport Drive and Sunset Frontage Road, a yellow western pine smashed into the truck’s cab, killing them both. Their families and attorney Brandon Batchelor claim the tree was “obviously dead," had been dead for years, and that the airport knew it was
