HAMMOND, La. —

A former Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's deputy has been arrested after an indecent behavior investigation.

According to TPSO, Mike Johnson, 61, was arrested and charged with four counts of indecent behavior and one count of malfeasance in office. Advertisement

Deputies said they received information during a recent security detail, which revealed that Johnson had shown inappropriate pictures to minors.

He was placed on administrative leave and, following an investigation, he was terminated and arrested.

He was a TPSO deputy for almost four years.
