VANCOUVER, Wash. — Vancouver police are investigating after four people, including three children, were hit by a car Friday afternoon.
Around 3:20 p.m., police responded to the collision at Southeast 136th Avenue and Southeast 7th Avenue, where a man and three children were hit by a car that fled from the scene.
All four people were transported to area hospitals; their current conditions are unknown at this time.
Southeast 136th Avenue and Southeast 7th Street were closed in both directions while emergency personnel were on the scene but have reopened, police said.
Police said that the suspect's car, captured on video, appears to be a 2007-2011 Nissan Versa with "likely damage to the front driver's side."
Anyone with information may contact the Vancouver Police Department.
