GLASSBORO – Amari Sabb is a special player even when his hands aren’t on the football.
But, when he does have his mitts around the pigskin, the senior becomes even more dangerous for the Glassboro High School football team.
Burlington City found that out the hard way.
Sabb rushed 129 yards and two touchdowns and Glassboro turned in another dominating defensive effort as the Bulldogs earned a return trip to the state Group 1 championship with a 44-8 victory over Burlington City at Marvin Slomsky Stadium.
Glassboro (13-0), which boasts a state-best 26-game winning streak, will face Cedar Grove (10-3) in the state final for the second straight season. Cedar Grove knocked off previously unbeaten Butler, 24-21, in the other state final.
