No. 5-seeded Alexandria Senior High came away with a 38-27 victory over No. 12 Brother Martin at J.L “Butch” Stoker Stadium on Friday in the regional round of the Division I select playoffs.
The Trojans will travel to No. 4 Catholic of Baton Rouge next week after the Bears defeated Captain Shreve 37-14.
“We’re going to do what we always do,” Alexandria coach Thomas Bachman said. “We’re going to work as hard as we possibly can work and throw everything we can into preparation. Our kids will be ready to roll seven days from now.”
