In a major counter-terrorism operation, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Chhattisgarh has apprehended two minors from Raipur and Bhilai who were in direct contact with ISIS handlers. Both are high school students—studying in 10th and 11th grades—and were being systematically brainwashed with extremist content online.
The two minors were reportedly ready to pick up weapons and had sent a clipping of a map related to “Operation Sindoor” to their handlers. The ATS has registered a case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), 1967, and is conducting a detailed and ongoing investigation into their activities.
